Return & Refund Policy

RETURN PROCESS

You have 2 days post the opening of all stores to return or exchange products

The returns process requires two simple steps:

  1. Return the relevant products by calling our help line +91-9810-20-2473 as soon as possible in the same condition as supplied, in their original packaging. You can also raise your return request from you account on any query mail on support@sightsavers.in
  2. Returned package should include invoice and tags.

Duration is in accordance to the relevant applicable laws in your country, and in case of offers, special conditions are to be applied.

POLICIES

Products purchased online can only be returned by calling our help line +91-9810-20-2473 Or raising request through your account. Any items whatsoever which have been provided free-of-charge with the relevant products must also be returned.

You must take reasonable care of any products that you wish to return and not use them. The products must be returned in their original conditions. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused to the items during your possession and may reject the request to return, exchange or refund. In accordance with global retail industry standards, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges of products in the following categories: Combo, Bundled & Special Combo (Such as purchase in some or the other way in the form of promotional offers) or other product which are personalized to your order. A refund request shall be considered only after the returned product/item has been thoroughly inspected and verified for compliance as per the return policy. If approved, the refund will be processed within 10 business working days.

In the case of faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods, we may offer you a substitute or replacement product or we will give you a full refund through the possible means, including any delivery charges you paid for (if any). In any case you must return the faulty, damaged or incorrect products to us as soon as possible in the same condition as supplied.

If a customer has purchased Products that are part of a package containing multiple Products or if the Product is included in a promotional package (collectively referred to as the “Bundled Package”), the customer must return all Products within the Bundled Package for Sight Savers to process a refund. For instance, if the customer has purchased a pair of Eyewear and a set of Contact Lenses as a single Product in a promotional package, the customer must return both the Eyewear and Contact Lenses and will not be allowed to return only one of the items from the Bundled Package. It is further clarified that if the Bundled Package includes any Non-returnable Product along with other Products, the User shall return all eligible Products except the Non-returnable Product.

Sight Savers reserves the absolute and sole discretion to refuse, reject, or cancel any return request, without any obligation to provide justification, if the return does not comply with the prescribed terms and conditions of the company’s return and refund policy or is found to be fraudulent, invalid, or inconsistent with applicable laws and regulations..

  • If it is determined that the Product has been used for purposes beyond verifying fit and comfort, Sight Savers reserves the absolute right, at its sole discretion, to reject the return request. The assessment of such usage shall be conducted by Sight Savers, and its decision shall be final and binding. Any return request found to be inconsistent with the prescribed return conditions or deemed to have been misused shall be deemed ineligible for processing, and Sight Savers shall not be liable to accept such a return or issue any refund in such cases.
  • If it is established that the Product has been washed, used, or altered in any manner beyond its intended purpose of inspection for fit and comfort, the return request shall be deemed invalid and rejected.
  • In the event that the price tags, brand tags, original box, packaging materials, or any accompanying accessories have been damaged, tampered with, or discarded by the User, Sight Savers reserves the right to refuse the return request.
  • If the serial number, barcode, or any unique identification mark of the Product, as applicable, does not match the records maintained by Sight Savers, the return request shall be considered ineligible and shall not be processed.
  • If the Product or any of its components exhibit signs of dents, scratches, tears, or any form of physical damage, or if the original packaging is not intact and sealed in the poly jiffy bag provided by Sight Savers, the return request shall be rejected.
  • If any complimentary gifts or promotional items provided along with the purchased Product are not returned, or if upon return they are found to be used, washed, defective, or damaged, the return request shall not be entertained.
  • In cases where the returned Products, materials, or accessories (including promotional or gifted items) are found to be counterfeit, fake, damaged, replaced, or not in their original condition, Sight Savers shall have the absolute discretion to reject the return request.
  • If, upon inspection, Sight Savers determines that the Product has been rendered defective or unusable due to the User’s actions, misuse, negligence, or non-compliance with the Cancellation, Return, and Refund Policy, the return request shall be rejected, and the User shall have no claim for refund or replacement.
  • If, upon inspection, Sight Savers determines that the Product has been rendered defective, damaged, or otherwise unusable due to the User’s actions, negligence, improper handling, or any unauthorized modifications, or if the User is found to have violated any terms stipulated under the Cancellation, Return, and Refund Policy, Sight Savers reserves the absolute right to reject the return request. In such cases, the User shall not be entitled to any refund, replacement, or compensation, and Sight Savers shall bear no further liability in this regard.

The User shall be permitted to return Non-Returnable Products solely in instances where defects or deficiencies are present in the Product, provided that such defects or deficiencies are attributable to and acknowledged by Sight Savers. Additionally, returns may be considered under exceptional circumstances, subject to thorough verification and at the sole discretion of Sight Savers. Furthermore, Non-Returnable Products may be returned if they have been delivered beyond the stipulated timeframe, except in cases where the delay is caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to COVID-19 or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Sight Savers. The User shall be required to initiate a return request for such Non-Returnable Products in accordance with the prescribed procedure.dropping email not later than 2 (Two) days from the date of delivery of Product or raising the request from your account.

 

EXCHANGES PROCESS

If the User intends to exchange any Product, they may initiate a return request through their registered account on the Sight Savers platform and subsequently purchase the replacement Product. Such exchange shall be subject to the availability of the requested Product and shall be governed by the applicable policies of Sight Savers. The approval of the exchange request shall be at the sole discretion of Sight Savers, in accordance with its prevailing terms and conditions.

 

REFUNDS

Subject to the aforementioned exclusions, the refund shall be processed within ten (10) business working days from the date of receipt and verification of the returned Product(s) by Sight Savers. The refund amount shall be exclusive of any delivery charges paid by the User at the time of placing the order. Any refund issued in relation to the returned Product(s) shall be made in accordance with the applicable policies of Sight Savers and through the original mode of payment or any other method deemed appropriate by Sight Savers at its sole discretion.

CANSiCELLATION

If the customer wishes to cancel an order, such cancellation may be initiated by contacting the Customer Service department of Sight Savers at +91-9810-20-2473 during working hours and within one (1) hour of placing the order.

Note: In cases where payment has been made through a credit card or debit card and the cancellation request is made in accordance with this clause, ght Savers shall either reverse the payment authorization or initiate a refund transaction, as applicable, at the earliest. However, Sight Savers shall not be liable for any delay in the reflection of the refund amount in the customer’s account, as the same is subject to the processing timelines and policies of the respective financial institution or bank.

Furthermore, it is expressly clarified that cancellations cannot be accepted beyond the stipulated time frame, as the order would have been processed. In such cases, the customer may cancel the order only through the return and refund process as detailed in Sight Savers’ Cancellation, Return, and Refund Policy.
